VCC OCE Season 6 Commences, Here’s What You Need to Know

After just under a year of waiting, Season 6 will commence in just 10 days.

Season 5 has concluded, crowning Error404 as your Season 5 champions. Now, we look towards Season 6 under new management.

Season 6 will be spicier than ever, having 14 teams split into 2 groups of 7 in our Group Stage. Teams will fight off in a round-robin format to decide the best of the best, with the top 4 of each group advancing into the Playoffs Stage. Playoffs will have your standard double-elimination bracket, where two losses means your run is over.

Our selection of teams consists of many familiar faces and a few new ones.

Teams TXG, Sel’s Warriors and Solarex under their new name Cherrys Are YUCK are back, and they are hungry for the ever elusive title of VCC OCE Champions.

Some familiar faces in teams such as VOLTA with Max, Atlas with cruzz and their coach odda, and finally Disproportion with their coach sommboiii, many soldiers who have fallen short of previous playoff stages and even the trophy in many various tournaments.

New teams under the aliases Mommysgoodboy, PupilsOfTheGame, SigmasOfAus, The Polars, Valtistic 5 and XZRT Esports, all here to take their shot at the crown. They make their entrance into the competition, but you best not miss your shot.

Don’t forget about our solo/duo signups, consisting of 2 teams, 50 Shoplifters and Touch Grass. 10 randoms group together to make an attempt at the solidified teams. I wonder, which will win? The stratbooks or the complete chaos of a patchworked team? Place your bets in the comments below.

Season 6 will be home to some heated competition, so we will need a talented production crew to showcase all the action to the world. If you wish to join the crew and help produce our high quality broadcasts or simply want to learn how to do these type of streams, feel free to fill out our production volunteer form and join the server, our admins and production manager will find a slot for you.

Good luck to all teams, remember to have fun, and as always.
